At my Alma Mater for the weekend, and I have to give a shout out to Anna Thai! Their Pad Thai never disappoints! As a broke college student, this was a cost-effective option because the portions are so big, they last you a few meals! Their takeout service is very efficient and I have enjoyed the times I have dined at their actual restaurant! Service is always fast and friendly. They do a nice job decorating too! I missed you, Anna Thai! That you for being a source of comfort in good old Decatur!

I've walked or driven by this restaurant for 3 years and finally tried it. It was late and I was by myself so I got a carry out order. My go to dish for my first visit to a Thai restaurant is Green Curry with Chicken, medium hot. I place my order and was told it would be ready in about 15 minutes. After a short walk around downtown I returned and my food came out of the kitchen. I was warned it was hot and it was. When I got back And unloaded my car I opened the bag both the entree and rice were still warm. Flavorful curry with large tender pieces of of chicken, eggplant, green peppers, carrots, bamboo shoots and basil leaves. A decent level of heat. The portion was generous enough to have leftovers for lunch. Anna Thai is worth trying. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
